What is beetroot pulp in dog food?
Beetroot pulp, more often called sugar beet pulp on UK labels, is the fibrous residue left after sugar is extracted from sugar beet. It is added mainly as a source of soluble fibre to help firm stools. It is not the same as red beetroot and contains very little sugar.
