ALL DRY KIBBLE FOODS MUST BE IMMEDIATELY KEPT SEALED & FROZEN TO MAINTAIN FRESHNESS. ONLY OPEN FROZEN PET FOOD BAG TO OFFER SERVINGS TO YOUR CAT OR DOG. THAW FROZEN FOOD FOR 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING. After opening, store in an air-tight container in a cool, dark place. The product is hydrophilic (attracts moisture), and if left in the open for an extended period can spoil prematurely. Evolution Cat, Ferret & Dog Foods should always be tightly sealed and even when they are put in storage bins they should be kept in their original bags with clips to prevent moisture and air damage.
Feeding guide
ADULT DOGS: up to 12 lbs: 1/4 - 1/2 cup per meal; 12 to 25 lbs: 1/2 - 1 cup per meal; 25 to 50 lbs: 1 - 1 3/4 cups per meal; over 50 lbs: 1 3/4 cup PLUS (add 1/4 cup for each additional 10 lbs over 50 lbs). Feed 2 meals/day. 390 kCal/cup. PUPPIES: can be started on dry kibble as early as they begin to nibble at solid foods (usually 3-4 weeks of age). Until 6 months of age, they should be fed all of the moistened food they will consume at intervals throughout the day.
